a dent in a bed
a pillow with a gentle curve
timeworn lines in a frayed out comforter
comfort in a frayed out blanket
that tatters, decays,
and drifts away
i am dust that drifts across the world
excited electrons that remember
being part of something grand
waves rippling and fading
